Oro Verde (ASX: OVL) is heading to market with a capital raising. The ASX has granted the company a trading halt today, with its shares placed in pre-open.
Just last month the company announced that first pass drilling at Timon had unearthed the presence of a large copper mineralised porphyry system located in the giant copper belt of northern Chile.
Timon is located just 75 kilometres southeast of the city of Copiapo in Region 3 of Chile.
The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Tuesday 24th December 2013, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
